Xian 5 Days Private Package Tour (Without Hotel)

Upon your flight arrival at Xian airport or train station, our guide will hold a sticker with your name waiting for you at the exit.

Pick up and tranfer to the city. Visit the Big Goose Pagoda. A major Buddhist site, the simple, elegant brick Pagoda stands in the grounds of the attractive Da Ci'en Temple. The Pagoda was built in the 7th century to house the Buddhist materials that Xuanzang (Tripitaka) brought back from his epic journey to India.

Then move on to the Bell Tower, built in 1384 during the early Ming Dynasty, which is a symbol of the city of Xian and one of the grandest of its kind in China. The Bell Tower also contains several large bronze-cast bells from the Tang Dynasty.

Then visit The famous Muslim Quarter located in the Muslim Area. For the tourists coming here, the bazaar in the Muslim area is most attractive with a wide area of stalls selling everything. The streets and walkways are full of life. The shopping is great, very cheap and some unusual items we will seldom see anywhere else in China.

After breakfast, transfer to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors, which is a collection of Terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife. After visit at Terra-cotta Warriors, transfer you back to Xian city, you will have chance to visit the North Square of the Big Goose Pagoda, a unique square closely combines the Tang-style buildings, city sculpture with Tang-Dynasty culture and lots of precious trees.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Xian Ancient City Wall, which is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world and the most complete ancient city wall in China. And today, the city wall is regarded as a landmark dividing the Xian city into the inner part and the outer part. You are free to take the bicycle around the city wall at your own expenses(optional).

After breakfast at the hotel. Drive 120km to Famem Temple. Famen Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220). According to the Buddhist scriptures, in 272BC, King Asoka of India presented relics of Buddha to different places in order to carry forward Buddhist doctrines. All places receiving such relics must build pagodas to enshrine them; therefore, 84,000 pagodas were built all over the world. There are 19 such pagodas in China, among which Famen Temple is the largest one.

After lunch, transfer to visit the Qianling Mausoleum. The Qianling Mausoleum is where the third Tang-dynasty emperor and his empress were buried together. The third emperor was Li Zhi and his empress was Empress Wu Zetian, a China's only governing female emperor. This Mausoleum is the most representative among the eighteen Tang-dynasty tombs and the best preserved.

Pick up from the hotel . Drive 120 kilometers east of Xian to the famous Mt. Huashan, known as 'The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven', is recognized as one of China's five sacred mountains. Before climbing up the Mount Huashan, you will firstly have lunch at the foot of the Mountain. Take the cable car up to the mountain top, enjoy the breath-taking scenery above at 2000 meters high. In the afternoon, go down hill and transfer you back to your hotel in Xian city.
