Hangzhou and Wuzhen 4 Days Private Tour from Shanghai

Pick you up from Shanghai hotel and drive to the train station. When you arrive in Hangzhou, our staff will hold a sign with your name waiting for you at the exit.

First visit Lingyin Temple, which is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China. It is beautiful, and the park is also breathtaking. Past the perfectly manicured tea groves of a picturesque country lane is the home of Hangzhou's amazing ancient Feilai Feng scenic area and Lingyin Buddhist Temple. Countless perfectly detailed reliefs, statues, and buddhas are carved eveywhere into the mountainside amongst tall beautiful trees, caves, pathways, and a quiet stream.

Then move on to Leifeng Pagoda. It is the oldest colorful bronze pagoda in China.

After lunch, visit Six Harmonies Pagoda. It is one of the three most famous ancient towers in Hangzhou. From the top of Six Harmonies Pagoda, you can get a view of Qiantang River and the magnificient Qiantangjiang Bridge. Going up the pagoda, each level has wall carvings and paint works on the culture and history.

Last, transfer you back to your hotel.

Today we are going to visit the most famous spots in Hangzhou----West Lake. There is just so much history and legends surrounding the West Lake of Hangzhou. Of all the legends, the most touching one is the love story between Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian. Exploring the entire place would probably take up a whole day or 2 half days as it is just that big. A suggestion as a 'route' would be to follow with the ten sights of west lake that has been critically acclaimed by scholars, artists and even emperors throughout history.

After visiting the lake, you will go to the Hu Qingyu Hall Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine Museum to learn about what you may know of Western medicine against the theories and practices of Eastern medicine.

Today we are going to explore the beautiful Wuzhen. Wuzhen has the characteristics of a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River. It completely preserves the features and patterns of the ancient water towns in the late Qing and the Republic of China.

Wuzhen uses rivers and streets to connect streets and bridges, build houses by the river, and integrate water and town. It organizes architectural features such as water pavilions, bridges, slate lanes, and the former residence of Mao Dun. The humanistic thought, with its overall beauty of natural environment and humanistic environment in harmony.

After breakfast, we will take you back to Shanghai by train. When you arrive in Shanghai, our staff will transfer you to your address and see you off.
